Caroline Hill shares her career journey and business story during this Mind Your Own Business radio interview with Tracy Heatley. Caroline Hill’s career in the NHS and food industry is fascinating.

When I think of a dietitian, I don’t necessary think about hospital meals or their input into what should and should not go into food when being manufactured. This is part of the reason why interviewing Caroline was so fascinating.

Also, it’s easy to associate a dietician as the ‘Food Police’.  Caroline Hill dispels the notion that diet should be about restricting ourselves. Her years of experience shines through during this interview.

Caroline Hill Nutrition

Caroline Hill Nutrition was formed so that Caroline could work directly with private clients.   As a home based business, Caroline has found a suitable work life balance of running her successful business, whilst caring for her young child.  For Caroline, running her business has provided the perfect blend and she’s absolutely loving it.

Now the business is formed and thriving, it seems like all the career decisions that Caroline has made have led her to this path.   Everything from her NHS experience to working for a food manufacturer has steered her in the right direction.  Whilst Caroline has no plans to massively grow the business, it continues to go from strength to strength.

Caroline continues to market her business though her website blogs, Facebook page, LinkedIn and networking with the Ramsbottom BoB Club networking group.

 

Tracy’s Thoughts

It’s clear that I very much enjoyed this this interview.  My biggest takeaway was that diet and nutrition is not always about cutting things out.  It’s often about adding things in, so that healthy eating doesn’t have to be an awful experience.

Caroline Hill clearly knows her stuff and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.  Plus, she’s so approachable that I’m sure her clients must find her very easy to work with.

This is a fine example of how you can have a highly successful home based business that works around family life.

I wish Caroline continued success as she pushes forward with her business and continues to build her client base.
